“A Truly Magical Retreat …”
Reawaken the senses in harmony with nature …
5 Stars on TripAdvisor
Yuquiyú is a rustic retreat in the foothills of Puerto Rico’s El Yunque rainforest that offers artisan-crafted treehouses with a balcony, designer furnishings, a granite kitchenette and a slate bath. The three-acre tropical garden comprises an organic farm, a cascading river and territorial rainforest views. Superbly located, Yuquiyú is just fifteen minutes from the heart of the rainforest, twenty minutes from famed Luquillo Beach, thirty minutes from the San Juan Airport and thirty-five minutes from Old San Juan. Sea turtle nesting sites, coral reefs, a bioluminescent lagoon and ancient petroglyphs are near.
We currently are accepting reservations for La Cara de Indio and La Cascada treehouses. Both have iconic views of the rainforest. The main difference is that La Cascada has a river view and three times as much balcony space. Our rate for La Cara de Indio is $150 per night plus 7% tax, and for La Cascada is $200 per night plus 7% tax.
Yuquiyú is meat free (any kind of animal) and smoke free. We ask guests to observe those principles while on the property (restaurants offering a variety of cuisines are close by and smoking is allowed in the parking area).
“Yuquiyú exalts not only the impressive beauty of our native land but also the rich culture of our ancestors…”

Below the main level and reached by a short path from the entry is a 90-square-foot, private bath that offers a slate interior, Kohler fixtures and a rain shower with a similar view of the rainforest.

Too bad Ponce de Leon didn’t look for the Fountain of Youth right in his own backyard …
He might have discovered Yuquiyú.
El Balcón del Río (River Balcony) is a tranquil place to relax in the hidden world of our river. Meditate to the sound of cascading water and rejuvenate in a natural pool.
